Then I think I have the perfect one for tomorrow. I already started at least one thread today, maybe two. If anyone else wants to start this one they can, and if not I'll do it tomorrow: Led Zeppelin wins Stairway to Heaven court case again.

We had a member, bobbyb5, who was good at coming up with thread ideas and was very prolific (some may have found him a little too prolific) -- my two favorites topics were: album covers that imitated other album covers, and rock urban myths. But he had trouble logging onto the site and dropped out at the end of 2018.

Didn't know about the login issues. If anyone else reading this has similar problems, you can always contact the site from the contact us page and I'll be glad to help resolve any login difficulties.

Levels of site activity fluctuate from time to time as the site site goes in and out of favour with site visitors. There are also seasonal traffic trends where the site normally goes through a summer lull which picks up towards the end of the year when people seek out end of year lists. The seasonality has always been a problem for BEA, and I think it was compounded last year when the site went through quite a major overhaul to make it more mobile friendly (which is still ongoing to a lesser extent).

I oversimplified what happened. He deleted the email account he used to join BEA and then couldn't get back in. Another user said he reached out to him on another forum and offered to contact you on his behalf. Don't know what happened after that, but bobbyb5 never returned. So not the site's fault.

Glad somebody tried to help and always sorry to see people go, and especially disappointed if the initial cause was technical. Forgotten passwords are sent to the email address on your profile, so it's important these are kept up to date.

For anyone else reading this, perhaps with the same problem, if the email address on your profile page is out of date it's still possible to get back into your account by contacting the site directly using the 'contact us' page (which doesn't require you to be logged in).

You know the sad thing about "transnational" is that I can't hear that word without thinking of one of the worst albums I've ever heard: "The Nationalist Dragon That Is Also Transexual" by TyrAnus Von NoHorn.

EDIT: This was my 100th post and I'm actually kinda mad about it.

Amen to this. I pray that I am not the reason why it has slowed down if it really has. I know that I go on and on and on about my favorites, but its because they come from a musical field that has never been the most popular and may never be and so I have to put them out them twice as hard in order for them to have half as much of a presence compared to everyone else that is in the musical picture.

God bless you and my favorites who are still here always!!!

Holly

P.S. Why did the most recent departure in country music have to be one of my many favorites? At the 1:21:16 mark of this clip, you will see what I believe is the best performance from one of the most under appreciated singers of the format, may the beautiful and precious Joe Diffie be having the time of his life now with the Lord, I miss him SO much!!! Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
