Thanks again BayState (saying again cuz new page).
Also got these today because my wife is awesome. These albums are ones that may not be the absolute best records, but are still near and dear to my heart:
I love the production and songwriting on this record. I know these guys blew up and stopped being cool or whatever, but I still love this album:

This one is so good...a little bit of early stereolab coming through from this Spanish band.

Another haul of vanilla records that are important to me for some reason:
First album I bought when I was like 10 on CD. Before then Tom Petty was playing non-stop with Beck on this mixed tape I made when I was 8. Zombie Zoo and Loser over and over.

Greatest Hits by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
Nearly finished listening to all my records (why own them if you don't spin them all/weed out those you like less to make room for ones better?), and was like man, I really dig moondance and glad I own it, but I'm really missing this from my spins, so I picked it up on the discogs.

Astral Weeks by Van Morrison
I have yet to fall in love with an album of his, but damn, some of the best songs ever written on here, so had to pick this up.

Donovan's Greatest Hits by Donovan
To finish up the Simon and Garfunkel albums I care about:

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Also rounding out the Radiohead albums I care about:

The Bends by Radiohead
And rounded out the R.E.M. albums I care about (minus New Adventures in Hi-Fi and Up... cuz they are like $300 anywhere I look/look forward to a re-release... by the way does anyone know a good way to research if an album is slated for a re-release? Google gone dun said nothing, which maybe is the only way, but thought maybe there's some site out there you've stumbled upon letting you know or something).
