Pretty anticlimactic finish, but it's a miracle they made it this far after what happened in game 1. Based on what I've seen, I'm convinced this would be 7 game series with everybody healthy. Ultimately AD was just too much for Bam (especially with his injury), and Jimmy just ran out of gas it seems like. And the Lakers defense limited Robinson/Herro & Miami's 3pt shooting very well throughout the series. Still a fantastic effort from Miami.

And y'know good job Lebron et al.

Totally. They need to re-sign Dragic. Either way, Miami is going to be a force for years. Goes to show it's not just talent, but also culture, that's the key developing a team.

Looking forward to kicking their ass next year! They are a worthy nemesis!

Same here.

If you're my downstairs neighbor with the insane record collection I'm going to lose it.

Haha, unlikely given we're a city of 4 million. Although we do have a decent-sized record collection, and we live on the first floor. Sherman Oaks?

Chinatown, that would have been incredible though.

I was thinking it's kind of hard to predict how this Miami will be doing in the future. In a way they got here too early (Bam, Herro, Robinson, Nunn are all players who will surely keep improving), but they also relied heavily on vets who might not have this opportunity again. I hope Butler can have another season or two like this, and I hope they re-sign Dragić, and that he can have another season at least close to this level as well. Crowder I thought also was perfect for this team.

Should be a fun next season... Just hope we get it in!

Miami is a few pieces away from being the best they can be.

Ultimately, Herro played garbage defensively (and his shot selection was BAAAAAAD in the finals too) and Jimmy just burned out all of his energy. A lot of issues that I saw were the line-ups Miami chose to use and yes, being unlucky with injuries. Still, they should move Bam to PF in Lakers match-ups and look for a traditional big man. If Cousins is 50% of what he used to be and healthy he'd be worth a look but I'm sure there are more options.

Biggest concern next season is the Warriors coming back and the Nets experiment.

Raps certainly didn't miss him... especially with Powell and Anunoby improving.
