News of the World's a favorite of mine, as well. Even the songs that I would never actually call "good" songs (namely Get Down Make Love) are still fun listens. And It's Late is one of the most underrated Queen songs, in my opinion.

Queen II is also an exceptional (albeit relatively unknown) album. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who likes Queen's more progressive-style songs.

Queen II is great.

So is the first Queen album Very Happy

This is my favorite song on the album and has amazing guitar work.

And don't forget about My Fairy King and The Night Comes Down. Two of my favorites that somehow slipped under the radar. It's sad, really.

/agreed

Aside from the obvious ones (Innuendo, Show Must Go On, etc.), I Can't Live With You and All God's People are two of the best from this album.

I love Greatest Hits sets! I can't wait for other forms of media to pick up on this... like...

Shakespeare Gold
1. Hamlet Act 1, Scene 2
2. A Midsummer's Night Dream Act 2, Scene 2
3. King Lear Act 2, Scene 4
4. The Tempest Act 3, Scene 2
5. Henry VIII Act 2, Scene 3
6. Othello Act 3, Scene 4
7. Macbeth Act 1, Scene 7
8. Romeo & Juliet Act 2, Scene 2

In all seriousness though I don't mind them so much if they compile things like singles or B-sides that didn't make their way to studio albums or even acting as a box set for EPs like they did with The Beta Band and Off!

Its what ever floats your boat. If your some sort of purist that needs a whole album, I can understand that. I used to be like that. But I've found some bands have a lot of crappy songs. But also some complilations work better than others.

Concidering whole albums, I'm to the point where I'm going to start deleting songs I don't like. The best album of all time Sgt Peppers has one turd on it, you know the crappy song wiht the bongos and mandalin. Turd. But can you really delete a song fron the best album ever.

On this album I didn't. Seemed wrong. But on other albums I'm doing it.

Byand adams, Everywhere I go, the Kids wanna rock - delete.
Kati Perry - Show me your Peacock - Delete

King of Delta Blues Singers is the best compilation in my opinion. Singles Going Steady is also great. Outside of that, I tend to avoid them unless they're from genres or artists that were mostly singles artists (Sam Cooke, Jams Brown for example)
