Hard to pick my favorite Doors album but this is in my top 3. The First side is called "Hard Rock Cafe" which starts out w/ the timeless Roadhouse Blues. I really dig the tunes Waiting for the Sun & You make me Real. The Second side is called "Morrison Hotel" Ship of Fools" (written by Jim w/ his Naval Admiral father in mind) Maggie McGill is a terrfic closer.
I have a couple of remastered cd's including the 50th anniversary release from last year & both contain quite a few takes on the songs. For the casual listener the single disc is all you need.
