Been listening to this quite a lot lately. It's got so many of the things a classic album needs:

Replay value: check!
Bangers: check!
Identity: check!
Melodiousness: check!
Originality: check!
Influence: check!

A few tracks like New Genious and Man Research (that are still very great but not awe-inspiring) takes this otherwise quintessential album a tooth-step down from top-class, and it remains my 2nd favorite Gorillaz album after the obvious competition-destroying magnum opus Demon Days.

The first album I was excited to find! Found in Exmouth market quite a while after getting Demon Days.

Slow Country and Starshine are such great tracks as are the singles.
