It's been a minute since I've put it on, this might be my favorite album from The Police, with Outlandos d'Amour as its closest competition.

Definitely my favorite Police album, but TBH, I only really liked the first three. The songs on the first one were probably just as good, but the guitar sound on this one was so much bigger and better, it was almost like listening to a completely different (and better) band. The drum sound was much improved too, now that I think of it...

The other big difference was that this one had three Stewart Copeland songs on it, and the first album had only one ("Peanuts"). Not that Copeland was an especially great songwriter... he was just a lot less determined to use reggae beats in his material than Sting was, and while I have nothing against reggae (or even reggae-influenced English pop bands), this album came out sounding a lot more fun and interesting as a result.
