Yeah I didn't get at the beginning either. Once I figured it out I got most right, so I ended up with a "respectable" score.
Total Score: 85%
Pitch discrimination: 82.6%
Musical memory: 83.5%
Contour discrimination: 91.6%
Attention: 83.9%
Musical/visual abstraction: 78.5%

I didn't realize there was a replay button until after I missed two
but after that I got them all right!
too lazy to copy over all scores, but i got a 90% overall
also, an interesting thought: most of you seemed to get worst in contour discrimination, but it was my best section... hm. weird. (maybe it's because of the ones i missed at the beginning, but i'd like to think i have a certain musical quirk  ) : Contour discrimination: 91.6% (

...I got 90%. You don't need music to complete the test at all, anyone who could study the similarities in pattern between different answers could automatically determine the answer without even hearing the "question".

The point is that you do it first go, and there's an obvious music correlation.

No, I did that on my first go.
Music IS involved, but because of how the test is structured you could easily guess all the right answers without hearing the music.
