This, but it also speaks to a band's long term consistency.

1. The Beatles - 97
2. The Rolling Stones - 68
3. Bob Dylan - 64
4. Bruce Springsteen - 58
5. ZZ Top - 57
6. Iron Maiden - 54
7. Green Day - 53
8. AC/DC - 50
9. David Bowie, George Thorogood - 47
Stones, Dylan and Bowie still have plenty of albums I haven't yet rated, as does Elton John who I reckon will kick out George once I do.
Removing the four star selections gives:
1. The Beatles - 21
2. Bruce Springsteen - 14
3. AC/DC - 11
4. Santana - 9
5. Bob Dylan, Iron Maiden, The Rolling Stones, ZZ Top - 8
9. David Bowie - 7
10. Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Green Day, Kris Kristofferson, Pink Floyd, Queen - 6
