80-gig iPod classic here as well. Thus far it's proven to be enough. I haven't the time or money to truly fill it up.

I own a Sony NWZ-A845 (16 Go) and I'm perfectly happy with it.

just a side-line here as I don't know the answer. I'd prefer to upload my music to the internet (in some private area) and then play/stream it from there rather than from my iPod. It gives you unlimited potential storage, allows multple devices to share the same music library, plus it will be visible from anywhere as long as I'm connected to the internet...

Does anybody know if this is possible? (I'm guessing I'd need something server-side to act as a media server)

Both Amazon and Google now have services to do just that. Have you looked into either of those, Albummaster?

what about apple's service, Applerill?

I could certainly say a lot of things.

Like about how they charge more for good quality songs. And their idea of "good quality" his 320 at tops.

Oh I hate Apple and don't think they do anything right, I just mentioned it because I know Applerill lurve's Apple.

Oh and I use my LG Optimus 7 Windows Phone which runs Zune and it's perfect Very Happy

Actually, my brother just got a new automatic turntable for Christmas, and he and I have been obsessed with it the past 24 hours.

I bought a lot of vinyl back in the '70s and up through the mid-'80s. I kept a lot of it and play it often. To me, nothing sounds better than vinyl.

Over the past month or so I've started to buy records. The reason I'm buying them though isn't for sound quality, its because record sleeves are perfect to display on the wall. I'm planning on making one of my walls into a collage of all my favorite albums. An album is just so much more physically satisfying to the eye than a cd.

But I've decided that since I now have about 10 albums and plan on getting quite a few more, I should get a record player. So I ordered one through amazon, I'm hoping when it finally gets here and I spin a record, it sounds as great as I've heard so many people say it is.
