Hellacopters (rock)
Janne Schaffer (guitar)
Anekdoten (prog)
Samla Mammas Manna (prog)
Jan Johansson(jazz)
Lars Gullin (jazz)
Sven Zetterberg (blues)
Harpo (70´s pop - "Movie Star")
Hep Stars (60´s pop - Benny Andersson)
Atomic Swing (90´s)
Really good point
For those who like jazz, even a little, I strongly suggest to take the time to listen to Johansson's "Jazz på svenska", a collection of traditional swedish tunes treated in the jazz way

They're definitely an interesting band! Prog? Maybe, but in a Zappa influenced way.
Trettioåriga kriget also deserves a mention if we're talking seventies prog.
Real 70 prog. Just watched Youtube! How about Jonas Hellborg, great bass player. He was a member of the 80´Mahavishnu Orchestra. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNGpsnTCUXM

Since you're talking 70s, here's Doris Svensson.
She had a very nice album which came out on 1970 with quite a few catchy tunes. Unfortunately I've never found any videos.
This is the most popular track (not necessarily the best) that came out of that LP
