One of my friends says that this album is homely. Yes, the turning point in the Fab Four's career. Rubber Soul was done quickly and studio on the last day, Lennon made a song Girl, and McCartney song You Won´t See Me. _________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNGpsnTCUXM
Without Rubber Soul there never would have been a Pet Sounds. Without Pet Sounds there would be no Sgt. Peppers. Every song on it is at least very good, if not a classic.
My personal favorite track is 2 1/2 minutes of musical perfection.
My 3rd favorite Beatles album after Pepper and Revolver.
It was an incredibly huge influence in the end of 1965...
There are so many brilliant songs on it - Drive my car, I'm looking through you, Nowhere man, Michelle, Girl, In my life, If I needed someone, Norwegian wood. There are only two songs I don't like that much-Act Naturally and Run for your life.
though I don't believe this is as similar to Revolver as George once said (Rubber Soul was like the A-side of Revolver he said)

Luckily, you don't find Act Naturally on Rubber Soul. That song was on Help!
