Hmm...Is this really Mercury's chart? I only see 3 Bob Dylan entries and none for The Tallest Man On Earth... Razz Seriously now, your "new" revamped chart has a number of great Blues albums. Excellent. Smile

I really can't abide people putting compilations of earlier material onto year and decade charts; seems disingenuous and more than a tad unfair. Beyond that quibble, I really like this chart. Props.

Today (... Today... Today... )
I consider myself (...self ...self ...self...)
the luckiest BEAer (BEAer... BEAer... BEAer...)
in the world. (world...world...world...)

----

Yeah, @ RepoMan - I've only heard Down Colorful Hill, Songs for a Blue Guitar, and Ocean Beach in full. The only one of which really blew me away was Ocean Beach. I look forward to exploring Rollercoaster

-----

@ skinny, yeah I can understand your point of view. I'd say though that a lot of the artists I have comps or retrospectives on never released (to my ears or that I know of) a killer album in their active or peek decades. And I'm left with amazing comps that I adore and are some of my fave albums. I think if I don't include them on the year charts or decade charts, they would only have a chance to land on overall charts, and THAT is what seems "unfair" to me. I really don't know what you are getting at by "unfair". You mean unfair to other users, or unfair to other artists?

----

And overall, thanks for the kind words and communication! (Yes even you, MusicExpert). It's funny that now free almost 1 1/2 years I finally get cotd and it's randomly my 90s chart. Well that is okay.

Thanks again!

Personally, I'm pretty stoked that you have some amazing comps in your charts. I'm especially psyched to go check out the blues comps that NickVolos praised. Plus, the COMPLETE Robert Johnson and the second disc of Dylan's Royal Albert Hall concert always blow my mind. Leaving those experiences out would be insane never mind unfair. Then again, I love your charts mostly for getting good recs and couldn't give two shits about the ultimate BEA rank list. I know that does matter to some.

tl;dr: Your charts da bomb! Don't change a thing.
