I might see Weezer play live in January. TWICE!!!

They'll be playing through the Blue Album and Pinkerton in their entirety, which is the main reason why I'm blowing my whole first paycheck on tickets.

Tomorrow, I have to present some crazy subject in staff meeting.

And I'm going to be shit.

It has nothing to do with the flu jab I had this afternoon (having my left arm go numb isn't the main issue).
No, I won't have no f.....g voice !!

I'm just back from Arcade Fire live. I was singing my head off. Amazing show !!
They played almost every track from "Funeral" (with an exceptional transition between Power Out and Rebellion) and the best tracks from "Neon Bible" (Intervention, No Cars Go...) and "The Suburbs" (We Used To Wait, The Sprawl II...).
The best part though, was seeing Win and Regine (and the rest of the band) enjoy themselves so much. Must be really awesome on stage.

If they are not in your chart yet, you are wrong.
Wrong ! They are simply one of the best bands around.

F..k work. How am I ever going to sleep now ??!

that's how I felt at ACL; my friend was holding me back as I screamed 'Where are your friends tonight?!' during the LCD Soundsystem show. One of the best performances I've ever seen. I was so excited I was moshing, which (as people who are accustomed to Austin crowds know) the crowds were not excited about, but great nonetheless

Went to see a band called Tall Ships recently, who were really good. Also Klashnekoff in Brixton, but wasn't a fan of the newer material, 'twas too grimey for my liking. The last memorable shows were all at Big Chill festival in the summer, especially Gregory Isaacs. Seeing him live fulfilled a lifelong dream of mine - one I will now never be able to repeat - and even the hordes of pre-teen girls trying to get a good spot for Lily Allen couldn't put a dampener on a show that included 'Front Door', 'Number One', 'Substitute', 'Soon Forward', 'Mr. Brown', 'Night Nurse' and 'Border' amongst others. May he rest in peace.

MUSE!!!!!!

I went to Melbourne to see them (as Adelaide is non-existent) but it was amazing. Biffy Clyro were average to start the night but as soon as Dom, Matt and Chris were revealed from behind their dystopian skyscrapers, it was great.

My voice is hoarse, my eyes are stinging but the 2 hours jsut cemented my appreciation for them.

Man, Muse never fails to disappoint. I saw them for the fifth time, at ACL this year. That was a great show. Their 2006 ACL show was much more fun, though, because the crowd was much smaller, I guess because they'd only just released Black Holes and Revelations. Plus, Arcade Fire was playing at the same time, I think...

The last concert I went to was Blonde Redhead at Warehouse Live in Houston. One of the best shows I've seen. The venue was tiny, and I was right up near the stage. It was a very intimate show. There wasn't much crowd interaction, but that only made the band more intriguing. And I've never seen more respectful fans at a concert. A lot of the people (including me) don't know the lyrics to the songs, because it's hard to understand what she's saying. But instead of randomly screaming or trying to start a dance party, the crowd just stood there and listened. It was really nice to see people actually being attentive at a concert.
