'Fuck Me (Interlude)' is the best here.

As a kid I was genuinely more anxious that my parents would walk into my room whilst that happened to be playing than I was about them finding me watching porn.

Anyway, this album is fantastic. A favourite among pretty much all of my friends for as long as I can remember, Biggie just has this deep, distinct rapping voice and a smooth, buttery flow to match. So many quotables littered throughout, and far more consistent than the (admittedly also amazing) Life After Death. That three-song-run from 'The What' to 'Everyday Struggle' is untouchable, whilst there isn't a weak song here. I always felt that, out of pretty much every rapper ever, Biggie had the best balance between the poppy party side of hip-hop, and the aggressive hardcore side (in fact, he pretty much set the bar in that regard, with Jay-Z and 50 Cent in particular standing out as clear disciples of this template). A true trendsetter, and a brilliant album in every sense.

I think it might be the best hip hop album I don't understand how it's only at 242.

What lethal said basically, there's not a weak moment and it's the perfect amount of pop for gangster rap.

One of the most influential albums of my life, I thought hip-hop was nice enough, and then I listened to that, and it was like wow, wtf. Truly changed my vision of it all. Gimme The Loot has possibly the best rapping I've ever heard, as well. Could come back to my chart if I listened to it again, you know how it is. But yeah, it's untouchable and is definitely the album I would give first to someone wanting to get into rap.

It's really good, but it always falls a little short of the hype for me, probably because I'm aloof and want all my albums to 'mean something'. 'Things Done Changed' blew me away when I first heard it, and 'Juicy' is an indisputable classic, the rest to me is just good fun. I've always been a little dissapointed with Biggie's rapping, he has a lot of interesting things to say, but his writing isn't the most inspiring for the prestige this album carries. His delivery and character is charming though, I can't fault him on that, certainly more of a style than substance thing.

I actually found this one kinda meh. It doubtless has a number of greats (Juicy, Gimme The Loot, Everyday Struggle) most of it just leaves me kinda cold.

Also will someone tell P Diddy to SHUT THE FUCK UP.
