I totally slept on this, but amazing list Antonio. Being selected as Senna is honestly one of the highest honours I've received in my life.

BEA Members as F1 Champions

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! (yeah I know)

Denny Hulme - Junodog (1967)

Sometimes I even forget he is here so... but we all remember him as a champion.

Sometimes I forget I'm still on BEA... Thanks for the mention... Now I gotta look up who this dude is.

Lucky bugger. I was only watching this yesterday - they'll never be another like him.

But yeah, great stuff Toni. Even if I did get lumbered with the most undeserving World Champion of all time (if Gilles hadn't died and Peroni hadn't had his accident he wouldn't have been anywhere near the title). Norm as "The Professor" has a nice touch, and Kiki as Scheckter instantly made me think of this. Can't imagine why...

A collateral production of my brain. Didn't know if I should do an account, but not doing, I keep revising this shit to no end. Publish or perish swain. Not sticking fully to the original criteria after all, in order to make the list more inclusive. Also added a bit of commentary, because some users probably don't know these. Sorry to the new users, I have not been here.

AfterHours: Carl Friedrich Gauss
I'm sure one can formulate criteria, showing that Gauss is THE BEST

albummaster: David Hilbert
There was something called Hilbert's program, and some claim it failed.

alelsupreme: Joseph Fourier
Hung out with Napoleon.

Antonio-Pedro: Cédric Villani
Pretty (sorry I reckon you've grown older in the meantime).

Applerill: Erwin Schrödinger
Not sure if monogamous

bongritsu: Luigi Amoroso
More like dumbers amirite.

Borve: Paul Dirac
"Once I had tea with [Paul] Dirac, but he did not speak, and I certainly was not going to ask him how he found the Dirac delta function."

Brandon Miaow: Lewis Carroll
Was Brandon's favorite author (maybe Emma Goldman has succeeded here). Carroll was appointed mathematician, but didn't do much research, which I'm sure Brandon, if appointed mathematician, wouldn't do either.

CellarDoor85: Georg Cantor
Ruminator of the infinite. Also depressed (I hope you’re good <3)

CryingGameDahlin: Eric Temple Bell
Men of Mathematics: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Men_of_Mathematics

CubaZed: Wacław Sierpiński
Into DFW, the author who wrote a book like the Sierpinski gasket.

dividesbyzero: Emmy Noether
I have no doubt Emmy Noether knew well how to divide by zero, at least in sufficiently trivial rings.

drakonium: William Sealy Gosset
I wonder if drakonium's still into drink.

Elston: Tom Lehrer
Sung. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6OaYPVueW4

Exit Sense: Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz
Legend.

Facetious: Srinivasa Ramanujan
The prodigy.

40footwolf: Grigori Perelman
Current activity unknown.

GeevyDallas: RiFF RaFF
Motherfuck subtraction.

Gowi: Jan Łukasiewicz
Invented POLISH NOTATION

hairymarx1: Gerolamo Cardano
I think Cardano was the first to present the solution for the cubic equation. But, who actually came up with it?

Happymeal: Doron Zeilberger
http://sites.math.rutgers.edu/~zeilberg/OPINIONS.html
http://sites.math.rutgers.edu/~zeilberg/
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CiwafhlbIs

Hayden: Guerino Mazzola
Piano, close enough. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PhSyWafNtp8

HigherThanTheSun: Nate Silver
Sports.

Jackwc: Paul Erdős
Homeless, not sober.

Jasonconfused: Friedrich Engel
Close enough to be VIP at communist raves in California.

joannajewsom: Archimedes
Legend

joyofdivision: Carl Sagan
Into marijuana, sent Blind Willie Johnson into space.

junodog4: Peter Ludwig Mejdell Sylow
Taught the kids.

Kiki: Giordano Bruno
Cosmological thinker, maybe there was aliens.

Kool Keith Sweat: Charles Sanders Peirce
Great American Scholar.

Listmeister: Pythagoras
Founded a religion based on numbers.

Lowkey: Pietro Bosselli
Not sure if he’s still lecturing.

meccalecca: René Descartes
Voice of Reason

Mercury: Johan Jensen
Telephone.

mooseboy101: Évariste Galois
Troubled youth, left early.

MrFrogger & Defago: Bertrand Russell & Alfred North Whitehead
Distinguished authors of Principia what.cd

muslim_bigfoot: Bernard Bolzano
Hope tekin would appreciate

Necharsian: Leonhard Euler
Best Ever Mathematicians (maybe, who cares)

19loveless91: Bogdan Gavrilovic
Looked up “Yugoslav mathematician” in the engine, took first result, sorry.

Norman Bates: Serge Lang
Norman's charts are the textbooks, was for me at least. Also French socialist.

pa: Niels Henrik Abel
Bright

paladisiac: Raphael Weldon
He threw a die more than 20,000 times and recorded the results.

The Poe: Nicolas Bourbaki
Reformist aspirations. Ostensibly a group.

ptaylor89: Omar Khayyam
Poet, stylish.

Puncture Repair: Euclid
Good at drawing.

RFNaples: Quantum Computer, A.
I don't know about these, but they might provide faster insurance.

Robert Anton Wilson: Robert Arnott Wilson
Close enough.

Romanelli: Augustin-Louis Cauchy
Moderator of calculus, apparently had unfashionable opinions.

Satie: Alexander Grothendieck
Heady antifascist.

Silver: Raymond Queneau
Would rather write fiction.

Skinny: Jean van Heijenoort
Hung out with Trotsky.

sp4cetiger: Henri Poincaré
Did stuff.

SquishypuffDave: Félix Hausdorff
Handsome metaphysician, wrote a book of poems called Ecstasy.

SuedeSwede: Alan Turing
Hope it would be appreciated

Tap: Bernhard Riemann
Maybe I should have found someone who knew more about lasers.

telefunker: John von Neumann
Celebrity.

Tilly: Pafnuty Chebyshev
I don’t know.

videoheadcleaner: George Stokes
Don't know either.

Wombi: Benoit Mandelbrot
Did a TED talk.
