One eskimO - kites: 4/10

The slow, painful, slightly embarrassing death of trip-hop. With some of those anonymous, everyman vocals that remind me of Elbow or Doves or some other similarly bland middle-aged man British indie rock band.

Anyway, next...

Open Mike Eagle - Qualifiers

Also, leaving out my own picks, here's my ranking of the songs offered up so far based on a solitary listen each:

1. Beachwood Sparks - Desert Skies
2. Bedhead - Haywire
3. Above & Beyond - You Got To Go (Acoustic Version)
4. The Veils - Jesus for the Jugular
5. Dead Moon - Walking on my Grave
6. This Town Needs Guns - Chinchilla
7. One eskimO - kites

Damn, that was really sick. Really digging the kind of click percussion beat there, plus really like the dude's flow. I'll have to check that out further. 9/10

I'll keep posting dreamy shit I guess. Here's Earth Moon Transit by Duster

That was cool. Sounds like Sonic the Hedgehog in a haunted house. No idea why I think so. 7/10

Ijahman - I'm A Levi: 9/10

Aw man, I could get more into this guy, it's pretty fantastic, I'm not as well listened in reggae as I'd like, considering the majority of stuff I've heard has been great though so I should work on it more, adding this album to my list of stuff to hear.

Bah, my internet sucks, it took like 15 minutes for that to post.

Listening to the Rodrigo Y Gabriela one now...

Edit:
Rodrigo Y Gabriela - Atman: 7/10

Grew on me towards the end, I like them, they're a bit of fun, it's no 'Tamacun' however.

Anyway, some bizarre stuff that I find crazy catchy.

This was really nice. Sounds completely different than the album cover (if the picture in the youtube video is the album cover). 8/10

Oops, listened to that one since it was skipped but since Patman eventually listened to it I'll listen to Frogger's, gimme a second.
Edit: Haha, that was cool, Frogger. I wish I could roller-skate. 7/10

So I realize this may be kind of long for this sort of thread so if whoever listens to it isn't digging it, just turn it off and post your rating. Smile
