We have individual sports threads for the 'bigger' sports, but why not have a general one for all those other sports that aren't quite big enough for their own thread, like curling and quidditch and stuff...

Just in time for the Tour and Vuelta.

Congratulations to Bouhanni at the Giro, who I've never heard of before this year.

Bouhanni's been the "next great French hope" of sprint for quite some time. This year looks like his breakout. Problem is, chances are he will not be on the Tour, as he is in competition within his team (FdJ) with another "great French hope" of sprint that's been doing well this year: Démare.

Dauphiné results are poiting at a clean Froome sweep for the Tour this year. It's a bit offputting to seem him dominate so much. I'll still be watching of course, hypnotic broadcast as the Tour is. Just watching the bikes on the mountains is sublime.

I don't know Démare either... but they both have great starting records. Wouldn't be surprised if they give Bouhanni a rest after the Giro and let Démare go for the Tour. Still don't think either have a chance against Cavendish, Sagan, Kittel, or Greipel (or even Petacchi if he shows up) for points. Wish the US had a better sprinter than Ferrar.
