Luben et company pull off a wonderful covers album. I think it may almost be as good as Tashi's equally stellar rendition of Quatuor Pour La Fin Temps. If this was a battle for best composition than this might have been a difficult choice but, there are few albums, never mind covers albums, that I’d choose over the spiritual descendent of Woody & Grahm. If one indie rock artist embodies the essence of Harry Smith’s immaculate Anthology of American Folk Music, it is Will Oldham. Few artists have come to the table with as mature and fully conceived of a debut as There is No-One What Will Take Care of You.
