|
So DSOTM has finally over taken revolver! Now all we need to do is knock Ok Computer of its rather comfortable perch and we will be set. Also Ok Computer should be knocked down to 5-6 but I just don't see it happning.
Fitter Happier is evidence enough of an album that should not be NO.1 on a chart like this... Although it's not like On The Run is much better. And lets not forget yellow submarine. (I think I may have decected a trend here)
One last thing you guys should check out my completely new chart, pretty much comprised of albums that are not in the top 50 yay!

I predict it won't last. Revolver will take #2 back again within six months. It's a bit like Rocky. "Yo Adrian! Adrian! Ain't gonna be no rematch...."

I would choose Revolver over Dark Side Of The Moon personally.

The best ever album is not OK Computer, I do like it, could be in my top 100, but the main reason why I would never include it in my chart is due to the fact I would then be supporting it in its number 1 position, which it does not deserve

Well something has to be at #1.. Isn't it most fair that it is an album which is on over 100 charts more than any other album (currently it's 721 vs DSotM's 604) ? Also I don't know what people's problem with Fitter Happier is.. I think it's vital for the album and (one of) its theme(s) (=>alienation in modern society)
(btw my favourite album is DSotM)

the only top 10 material in the top 10, in my eyes, is London Calling, OK Computer, and Revolver (and I wouldn't call myself a Radiohead or Beatles fan at all)
