And January is usually a weak month for releases. Damn

Will listen to at least the first three, but I only have confidence in Sleater-Kinney's being great. Some big releases in the indie sphere though.

I'll probably check out all of them and B&S usually have a track or two for my playlists, but yeah...

really trying to get excited about the new decemberists but after those last two albums this is proving quite difficult...

sleater kinney should be great though, and hell I bet there'll be some good (albeit uneven) shit from B&S and Panda as well

Really? Didn't like The Hazards of Love? Mhm.

As for The King is Dead, I couldn't agree more. One of the steepest declines in quality I've seen a band have. Hoping that the upcoming record is up to snuff.

Neither did I. My faith in that band is pretty much gone.

The Decemberists and Panda Bear may be worth a listen. The other two are pointless though. That Belle band were always silly and it is unbelievable they still make albums while Sleater-Kinney should have called it quits and not even thought about a My Bloody Valentine.

It's going to be the sort of album which will be raved about on the week before its out and tossed aside 6 months down the line Shocked
