- Post subject: Recommend me some albums?
|
I listen to every genre except rap. My favorite albums of all time are
Pet Sounds-BBs
Odessa-The Bee Gees
The Who Sell Out-The Who
Odessey and Oracle-The Zombies
Ragged Wood-Fleet Foxes
Village Green Preservation Society-The Kinks
Im a sucker for melodies and harmonies. My favorite band of all time is the Beach Boys. Just looking to see if there is anything out there that I haven't checked out and should.
Looking forward to hearing suggestions.
Thank you!

The New Pornographers- (almost any of their albums, but Twin Cinema is my favorite)
The Decemberists- first three albums
Guided by Voices- get the best of (I can't remember what it's called)
Belle and Sebastian- If You're Feeling Sinister, Tigermilk, Push Barman to Open Old Wounds, Dear Catastrophe Waitress
Fountains of Wayne- Welcome Interstate Managers
I might think of more later. I think we have similar taste.

Yes' Close to the Edge, it's such a magnificent album.
Don't forget Coldplay's Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, and Prospekt's March. _________________ Music is the harmony of life. Without it, life would be a tasteless thing.
