If I didn't already own Permanent : Joy Division 1995 I would agree with you. But since I already have one compilation, I'll get the studio albums.

ESG- Come Away With ESG
Ride- Nowhere
Destroyer- Kaputt
The Chameleons- Strange Times
Notorious B.I.G.- Life After Death
Weezer- Pinkerton
Cut Copy- In Ghost Colours
something from James Blake, maybe
Talk Talk- Colour of Spring
Pavement- Wowee Zowee

- Disappointed with James Blake, or maybe I wasn't in the mood.
- Wowee Zowee is great. I need to listen to it more.
- You'll probably like Pinkerton more than I did.
- Strange Times is one of my fav post punk picks. Great guitars and melodies.
- Each track from Nowhere is stunning. Go for it !

Metal Box as in vinyl? cos you can still get the same album, just with the tracks mixed around, in their Second Edition. I highly recommend this, Emergency and I, and Heaven Up Here.

I was pretty dissapointed in Pornography, still worth a listen though. As far as New Order though, you've got la creme de la creme in Substance, Power-Corruption-Lies, and Technique

Lateralus is a total masterpiece. Keep in mind that it might take a few listens to really "get it". It certainly did for me Smile
