Sorry kids! Due to studio mishaps, we were unable to broadcast last week's episode, but here we are, back in full form, with THE 2014 SUPER FUN BLAH BLAH BLAH SOMETHING SHOW, STARRING:
Hearing of the escape of the dreaded RepoMan, our group of heroes has been assembled by our brave defenders from week 1, to destroy the evil JoD-bot, constructed to finish the job Repo started. Will they prevail? You decide! (decide correctly this time plz)
finding himself plagued with the pains of human weakness, the mad scientist known as dr. joyofdivision has augmented his human body into something far more sinister, the all-powerful JoDbot! Luckily, with super complicated pseudo-science tech-analysis that our writers pulled out of their collective ass, Syro is able to identify it's one weakness. If it can be defeated in battle, the loss will result in an emotional response so powerful that the robotic element will fall to pieces, leaving the doctor vulnerable. Encarnado leads the team to search for his secret villain mountain base
It is discovered that the Jodbot has take a whole suburb captive, converting a fragment of the population into augmented in mini-Jodbots. He's constructing his own robotic empire and must be stopped. Our heroes move towards the center of this new city over which Jodbot has taken control
Things seem bleak, but Pom Pom reveals himself to have been wearing a gas mask this whole time because plot device! Can he awaken all of our heroes before the Jodbot unleashes a deadlier strike? Can the world be saved? It's up to you! (please don't make the networks cancel us oh god...)
Interesting matchup of captains. I have to say though 94 wins this easily, again another contender for best team Ive seen so far this tournament. Two all-time favorite albums, plus the excellent Illimatic and the essential White Birch (haven't heard the other though, will get on that... hopefully). Fantastic singles team. 14 again is very strong, but mostly has stuff I like and some stuff I really do (and one I haven't heard), but nothing I absolutely love. I see what you did there using Syro v 94 . Strong singles. But no easily 94, great work though by both captains.
Same. 1994 is tempting with Geek the Girl and Illmatic, but The Holy Bible just doesn't work for me. Gabe really unloaded this round with nothing but the highest quality. _________________ http://jonnyleather.com
