So I've now hit 160 in my journey through the overall chart.

Latest listens including:

The Kinks Are The Village Green Preserv... The Kinks
My favourite Kinks album and something I've loved for a long time now, languishing in the middle of my overall chart, first recollection of hearing the tracks on this is in the film Hot Fuzz, kinda stuck with me since.

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
One of my favourites of the Beatles solo work, can drag on a tad at times, but the highs are certainly high.

Parklife by Blur
Once would have found my way onto my overall chart, nowadays it's a bit behind a few other Blur albums for (The Great Escape and Modern Life Is Rubbish), but it's quite enjoyable nonetheless, still holds up for me.

The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan by Bob Dylan
A masterpiece that has grown to be my favourite Dylan album over time (no easy task) and is comfortably o my overall chart, picking a favourite track is not something I can do easily.

High Violet by The National
My favourite National album, no longer on my overall chart but nice to listen to this every so often.

White Light/White Heat by The Velvet Underground
Top 10 albums of all time for me, a pure mess and I love each and every second of it.

Aside from albums, I've been making time for films
1. The Wizard of Oz (Fleming)
2. Citizen Kane (Welles)
3. La La Land (Chezelle)
4. Moonlight (Jenkins)

And I've been reading Jack Kerouac's On The Road.

Not to mention my tv watching...

It's been a productive week some might say.

Been on the road quite a bit to...

Ramones by Ramones

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails

Madvillainy by Madvillain

Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain by Pavement

Different Class by Pulp

Odelay by Beck

Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys

Meddle by Pink Floyd

Lateralus by Tool

Horses by Patti Smith

Tago Mago by Can

The vast majority of this is good stuff I enjoy, not always my favourite albums by their respective artists (Can and Pavement standing out in this case), but I enjoy nonetheless, the reason for such extensive listening in the space of a mere week is travel, 3 or so hours in a car in areas with no radio reception, Spotify downloading has proven my best friend in these cases...[/youtube]
