Trust me when I say there's worse stuff out there than Sublime, but here's some better stuff too. Mostly canon, sort of the all time greats, with some personal favorites mixed in:

1st wave:

here's where I'm clueless honestly I just know some random stuff so if anyone wants to throw some stuff my way that'd be appreciated!

2Tone/2nd wave:

Specials by The Specials

One Step Beyond... by Madness

I Just Can't Stop It by The Beat

Forging Ahead by Bad Manners

3rd wave:

Everything Goes Numb by Streetlight Manifesto

Hello Rockview by Less Than Jake

Evildoers Beware! by Mustard Plug

How It Goes by Big D And The Kids Table

Turn The Radio Off by Reel Big Fish

Let's Face It by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Ska Punk that fits into neither of the above:

Energy by Operation Ivy

...And Out Come The Wolves by Rancid

Album Minus Band by Bomb The Music Industry!

Ultra Panic by MU330

The Resignation by Rx Bandits

I didn't even realize these were the guys who did "Stargazer", they've changed sound a lot, don't judge too much

And for fun, this isn't actually bad:

I don't believe in guilty pleasures, but whenever I listen to ska (even first-wave like Madness) and give it five stars, I think back to myself "why do I tolerate such tasteless music just because it's catchy?".

I still don't have an answer to that. Structurally, it's hard to find a type of music I'm so ready to hate as ska, but somehow I still love some of the recs mentioned.

Absolute rubbish.

Anyway, here's some ACTUAL third wave ska and not "pop rock with horns":

Full-Tension Beaters by Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra

Arrivals & Departures by Eastern Standard Time

Shake Your Foundation by Rotterdam Ska-Jazz Foundation

Ska Fever by The Ska Flames

Color by Oreskaband

Stick 'em Up! by Pistol Valve

Prowincja by Akurat

This is an asinine opinion when you give far more cliched and supposedly "tasteless" genres a free pass.

I'll definitely admit that my definition of "tasteless" is a completely subjective one; I guess it's sorta like djent where it so commonly checks off all the boxes for what I don't aesthetically like in music.

Regardless, I must add one unparalleled masterpiece in the world of ska, one I memorized as a homeschool boy from my youth forever onward:

Cheeses... (of Nazareth) by Five Iron Frenzy

(And of course, I love Gwen Stefani too much to say anything bad about No Doubt. "Happy Now" is a five-star single).

Err...no. Unless of course you're referring to this:

Can't go wrong with either of these, although I'm not sure if the OP is after this type of 'ska'. If not he's missing out.

To add to the stellar LPs above:

Memorial Album by Don Drummond

Absolutely chuffing essential

Foundation Ska by The Skatalites

In addition you can't got wrong with the Trojan Ska Box Sets or either of the Studio One Ska compilations that Soul Jazz put out.
