I cannot say that I know more than "Que será" by Doris Day. But that is a magnificent song. Also, my favorite Wikipedia story is about her. The Mael brothers (of the Sparks) once claimed in an interview that their mother was Doris Day. And for years you could read in Wikipedia (but also in printed books on Rock music) that Mael was just a stage name and their real name was Day. You did a good job, Doris. _________________ When the stewardess is near do not show any fear.
Doris Day was a true star
She did loads of good songs
Que Sera, Secret Love, Sentimental Journey
Plus she was one of the last stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood
I overheard - and subsequently misheard - people talking about this at work today, and thought that Morris Day had died. Which, admittedly, would have been a strange thing for the people that I work with to have known or cared about.
Anyway, RIP Doris. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
