Was hoping he could pull through after things sounded like they were getting better. I was lucky to see him live in 2017 with Bon Iver and friends, he only joined for a few songs at the end but it was more than enough. Call someone today and tell them Hello In There. _________________ And it's hard to be a human being. And it's harder as anything else.
Bruised Orange is great! Finally listened to my dad's copy after all these years of it just sitting in my collection. Absolutely recommend it. RIP John Prine.
God bless you and his family and the rest of his fans always!!!

P.S. I didn't think that Joe would ever give it up at the end, I LOVE the smile on his face while listening to the crowd go bonkers for him!!! _________________ Me & my favorite singer James Otto
RIP Hal Willner. Another COVID casualty, only 64. Sketch music producer for SNL for almost two decades. Produced albums for Lou Reed, Marianne Faithful, Lucinda Williams and Laurie Anderson among others. Produced several tribute albums known for their eclecticism, including these:
Featuring Michael Stipe and Natalie Merchant, Bonnie Raitt with Was (Not Was), Ringo Starr with Herb Alpert, James Taylor, The Replacements, Sinead O'Connor, Aaron Neville, Los Lobos, Sun Ra, Harry Nilsson, Yma Sumac, Betty Carter etc.
He's sometimes credited with playing a role in launching Jeff Buckley's career. An old boss of mine was Willner's roommate in college. I was at the show recorded for the Willner-produced live Marianne Faithful album Blazing Away.
