Oh man! What a bummer! I know three of their albums really well, like sing along (poorly) to every song well, and heard a few others, and I know most of their singles and other compilation type material. Glad I got to see them live once, circa 1990. Oh well, if nothing else at least this will give me motivation to get my ass into gear and check out some of the other 25 or so I haven't heard yet and been meaning to get around to. By the way how good was the song Fol De Rol last year? It was one of my 100 favourite songs of 2017!

Fucking MES. Always remember picking up the remastered Live at the Witch Trials on CD at Valhalla in Kilmarnock and listening to it on my Discman every day to and from school for a year, must've been about 13. To say it was formative is an understatement. God bless the cantankerous old fucker.

RIP Jóhann Jóhannsson

That came out of nowhere... no cause revealed yet, but damn. His scores with Villeneuve are incredible, not to mention his other compositions and solo work.

Beautiful stuff. Such a shame... going to genuinely miss his scores.

Wow, that's really unfortunate. He was just hitting his stride too.

Since it was announced earlier today that Billy Graham has gone forward, I thought that I would share this wonderful song that was done about him by several singers.

Craig Mack, best known for the 1994 hit "Flava in Ya Ear" has passed today, aged 46. One of the first to release an album on Diddy's Bad Boy record label. Apparently he was spending some time in a cult according to one article. I'm interested in whatever that story is.

Here's his album, that I had neglected to add to my 1994 list along with his one hit, for those that may not know.

Project: Funk Da World by Craig Mack

I like how he's wearing a KC Chiefs jersey on the album cover, and then a Tampa Bay Lightning jersey in the video. He's from New York, but that's just how 90's hip hop was. As a long as what a giant jersey I don't think many people cared.
