I was just recently getting into his newer stuff, which is excellent too. RIP to an absolute legend

Just found out reading this. Too many recently. Good record that one, so late in his career.

There's (unconfirmed) word Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk has died.

It's wierd- I didn't recognise his name, but Kraftwerk were as great as any band. I suppose I don't feel so sad as I might in other cases as there isn't that personal connection somehow... I just want to stick on their albums and admire what they achieved (so I will!)

that's sad about Florian Schneider

Going to play a Kraftwerk album, some of their best songs and Bowie's V-2 Schneider in tribute.

We lost Ty today. Only 47. One of the greatest British rappers to ever do it. Highly recommended if you like Roots Manuva.

Aye. He just came over as a really nice guy. Always an enjoyable listen. Nothing in your face. Definitely recommend his first two. Was actually going to go and see him recently with Rodney P and Blak Twang but I was too ill to go unfortunately. What a shit week. Dave Greenslade too.

RIP Little Richard.

This might sound strange, but I was just thinking about him 2-3 days ago after Tony Allen passed. I was listing off a couple bigger musicians that I didn't want to be hit by the entire virus pandemic, and it struck me 'oh yeah, Little Richard's still around, how old is he?' and I gave his debut another listen just on Thursday just for some uplifting music. I think it was the first time I'd played it in at least 5 years. It's a bizarre feeling. Same thing happened to me with Dr. John.

Legend. Probably the last of a generation.
