Why do people say this? As if last year was the first year that people died? The fact is that most of today's 'veteran heroes' are the baby boom generation, and these people are due to die soon. Take a dead pool of giants in music who are still alive, but quite old: Dylan, McCartney, Van Morrison, Elton John, Ringo Starr, Ozzie Osbourne, Willie Nelson, the list goes on. Those are just the biggies who will all likely be gone in the next decade.

No but last year we lost a ton of them, and they weren't people that were old enough that it wasn't a surprise.

I actually just now noticed that I messed up on my words there. It should say "Will this year be just as bad as last year?" Sorry.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Why do people say this? Its because of those who go unexpectedly and in my opinion, that is how too many people went forward last year. Did anyone predict that Prince, David Bowie, and George Michael would be gone already? I am guessing very few people if anyone predicted any of them at all. I still can't believe that Glen Frey is gone. Sad Sad Sad

Just found out that David Peel died.

He passed away a few days ago, but I didn't see any coverage of it until today. RIP. Sad

I believe he passed away late 2004. Perhaps it's another John Peel?
