My idol! My favorite singer! It was through the audioslave that I started to become more interested in music. In fact if it were not for him, all my life at this moment would be different

A big part of my childhood was spent listening to the first two audioslave records and Superunknown in the back seat of my car, and even not enjoying their stuff now as I once did, I still felt this weight when I head about Chris, sad news indeed.
RIP Chris.

RIP Chris Cornell.
Always a shame to see artists die that young. As far as grunge goes, Soundgarden were definitely one of the best bands around. Strangest thing, he had a really awful record from 2009 that popped back into my head only a few days ago.
Really unexpected though... they haven't released a cause of death yet, right?
I should also add that Keith Mitchell (Mazzy Star drummer) also died young the other day.
