A fun record, you can hear all over that they enjoyed what they were doing. Good songwriting by this great supergroup.

Can we please give the whole "dadrock" thing a rest already?

Sawwy, but I think half the reason this album is worshipped as much as it is is because of all these "divine" figures of classic rock getting together. From my memory, there wasn't too much else notable on this album, and judging from my friends' ratings on RYM, a lot of people agree with me. I don't remember it being horrible, though, so that's good.

EDIT: That being said, I have gotten to really love Tom Petty in the past year or so, so maybe I'll like it more on second listen. Maybe I'll listen to it again when I'm done with Shaking the Habitual.

EDIT2: Darn, it's not on Apple Music currently :/

Since when was Roy Orbison considered classic rock? For that matter, how is Bob Dylan even considered classic rock, not that he gets much classic rock radio play (in my area)?

Sorry you think that...but that doesn't mean you have to insult a whole generation of music listeners in the process.

Better yet...go buy a copy.

Tweeter and the Monkey Man is up there with the best Dylan songs of all time. A really fun album overall, and a great late career moment for George Harrison.
