Oh cool. Thanks, Albummaster for randomly selecting my chart.
This took dozens of hours to make. Mostly cuz I had to add most of them to the database and I wanted to write a little synopsis of each album/artist. Anyway, I love this music very much. And I may add a few albums to it. But for now I'm staying put.
Some of the choices are borderline not really deep or country blues but more early urban blues. But I couldn't leave off Memphis Minnie and Leroy Carr etc. so they stayed.
Also I got some great recs on the American Primitive series from Mecca. Also some great recs from Cymro (where's he been) on Robert Wilkins. Thanks you guys! _________________ -Ryan

Yeah a lot are. A lot are compilations. If you find any comp with similar material, you'll still be alright. I was lucky to be in St. Louis when one of their vintage vinyls closed and so the v. Vinyl next to my house got all their best used stuff come in at once. I probably found and bought 2 or 3 dozen used Document Records CDs and other random stuff within a month period of time. Big boost.

Which ones did you listen to from here? Just curious.
Also, no I'm not too familiar with Joe Hill Louis. Definitely heard of him, but very little. And I've heard a couple tracks here and there. Is it mostly boogie, one man band type stuff? Is there a collection you'd recommend? _________________ -Ryan

I have two of his collections I've been listening to The One Man Band and Boogie in the Park which rn I consider about equally good. You might start with the former seeing as it's shorter but the latter definitely feels more complete. Also there are a few tracks that appear on both
