I love the bounciness and pep this album has while not forgetting some of its introspective moments. I don't get why some people rank this as their least favourite Smiths album when it has some of their most genius songwriting.

A marvellous album, I will admit it never quite reaches the heights of Queen is Dead or Strangeways, however, songs like How Soon is Now and Nowhere Fast are, in my opinion, classics.

Somebody somewhere once wrote that while this probably wasn't the Smiths album with the best songs, it most certainly was the best sounding. I can understand this point of view.
