sooo, i apologize for this being late, i've been super busy

https://open.spotify.com/user/musicrevi...0cLVzxAho9

1. Travis Scott - Pornography
2. Drake - Know Yourself
3. The Cure - Lovesong
4. The Weeknd - The Party & The After Party
5. Frank Ocean - Pyramids
6. PARTYNEXTDOOR - Recognize
7. Jamie xx - Loud Places
8. Burial - Shell Of Light
9. FKA Twigs - Two Weeks
10. Triad God - I Never Told You

the concept/idea of this is that:

first you're at a party (which is why pornography starts it off, which is what i have chosen to start most of the parties i go to)

then with know yourself and that being a drake song, you know feelings are bound to erupt somewhere even if the song doesn't seem like it, also it still the beginning of the party and you're hyped, that's what this song is

lovesong is when you start to meet the person you want to talk to at the party and begin to talk about whatever you all talk about w potential romantic interests that you meet at parties

the party & the after party, well yeah, the track name says it all, this is when things to start to happen and this is the transitioning track to the whole "aftermath"/afterparty part of this

pyramids - the first half is like "the party" from the previous song and the second half is like "the after party", this helps to transition into the after party

recognize - slight feelings of regret that you hooked up with someone at a party

loud places - getting over those feelings of regret and starting to realize that there's something about the other person that's extremely interesting and lovable

shell of light - staying up the rest of the night talking about life

two weeks - two weeks go by and you start to talk to the person more and realize what they are all about, falling in love

i never told you - meeting up again and connecting on an emotional level

Some of my most eventful nights follow this formula, love it! Definitely a nocturnal playlist, I'll give it another go later tonight.

listened to this once a little while ago so forgive me if these opinions aren't totally fresh in my mind but here goes

Aight so first off, Travi$ Scott and Drake do very little for me, but honestly these are two tracks I don't mind that much Razz
Lovesong is a classic, and then that Weeknd track is one of my faves from him, and it maintains a bit of the Cure gothic vibe so the flow keeps goin. Nice. And then again perfect flow into Pyramids, which while I do think is just a teensy bit overrated, is still a killer track. Didn't really care for the next two tracks but again I can't deny the flow. And then eeeee Shell of Light is one of my fave Burial tracks so that's cool, and then ditto with one of Twigs' best. Triad God track (which I actually only already knew of that one because of you, and I dig it) was good closer, kinda left the thing on a "where might the night go from here my love?" vibe (whatever that means lol).

In short, while there was stuff I couldn't vibe with, when it bangs it bangs
