I really love this album. It is full of passion and, at the same time, of tender moments. You can find the best example of this in Anesthesize, with strong guitars and haunting vocals and then comes a beautiful and mellow keyboard-guitar bridge at the end. Progressive metal at its peak. It's a pity that this band made a weaker album and then split after this.

My favorite album of theirs so far of what I've heard. Great aura to it and incredible drumming. Of course having Alex Lifeson play a guest solo is always a plus.

Aptly titled -- this is probably the bleakest album I've ever heard. There's no denying its emotional impact, but gawd it can be hard to listen to.

It's true that it's not an easy album to listen, but if you do for enough time, you find its beauty Smile
