The Feelies for sure. Their "comeback" album in 2011 was really really good.

New Big Boi by the looks of it too. Just hoping that it's better than his last effort.

lana made it sound like she was possibly releasing an album this year, so i'd say its p much definite for next year, esp considering her consistent output (and little hints lately... maybe it'll be a 2016 release yet!!)

sky ferreira would be another one i really hope happens, i remember hearing the live version of masochism a while back and *loving* it but i think its taken down now?? cant remember also not about to look it up, hm

hopefully a new dirty projectors?? say your name is one of their best songs ever, so a full-length would be *awesome*

new taylor swift????? pleeeeeeeeease i want her drake collab so badly.

haim maybe too?? i thought i heard something about a new album of theirs but i think it might have been hubbub

on that note lorde too but i think thats 4real, so v hyped for that -- where has her music gone after all these years?? let's see.

ok i think that covers it for ~probably coming out next year that i rly care about.

Oh gosh where do I start. I guess Dec. 99., DOOMSTARKS, and those 3 Lupe albums would all be great, but I'm starting to doubt they'll ever actually surface (maybe not Dec. 99. just yet but it's been a bit and I'm jaded). There's also:

Reflection - Brian Eno (1/1)
Oczy Mlody - Flaming Lips (1/13)
RTJ3 - RTJ (1/13)

Brokenlegged - Sinai Vessel (1/27)
Life Without Sound - Cloud Nothings (1/27)
A Girl, a Bottle, a Boat - Train (1/??)
Wild Pink - Wild Pink (2/10)
SAY10 - Marilyn Manson (2/14)
Terrible Human Beings - The Orwells (2/17)
landmark - Hippo Campus (2/24)
Common As Light and Love Are Red Valleys of Blood - Sun Kil Moon (2/2Cool
Cruel Winter - GOOD Music (2/??)
50 Song Memoir - The Magnetic Fields (3/3)
All Day, Every Night, All Night - Del Paxton (3/3)
In Your Absence - Senses Fail (3/3)
? - Jesus and Mary Chain (3/??)
? - Spectres (3/??)
? - Algiers ("early 2017")
Farewell - Another Musician (?/??)
? - Arcade Fire (?/??)
? - At The Drive In (?/??)
? - Bad Religion (?/??)
? - Brand New (?/??)
? - Clarence Clarity (?/??)
Spirit - Depeche Mode (?/??)
? - Elbow (?/??)
? - Fleet Foxes (?/??)
? - Gorillaz (?/??)
? - Gotye ("halfway done" as of a year ago today)
? - Grizzly Bear (?/??)
[at least 1 new EP] - Invalids
? - John Cale (?/??)
? - LCD Soundsystem (?/??)
? - MGMT (?/??)
? - No Fixed Star (?/??)
[Live album] - Pinegrove (?/??)
[maybe just a single idk] - Pretty Pleased (?/??)
I Gleek on Your Grave(?) - The Shins (?/??)
? - Small Leaks Sink Ships (?/??)
? - Spiritualized (?/??)
? - Tears for Fears (?/??)
[EP] - Terror ("spring")
Thelma - Thelma (?/??)
? - Vampire Weekend (?/??)
The Black Album(?) - Weezer (?/??)
Forget - Xiu Xiu (?/??)

probably a lot of others too but that's my radar for now

Just found out about this - the first single is great. I don't want to get excited that this will be high quality but Omar has been pretty active in music since their last album so I'm getting hopeful.

Also if Pete Rock's instagram can be believed Kanye's TurboGrafx16 might still be happening.

Some others to look forward to:

Fleet Foxes - Crack-Up
Chromatics – Dear Tommy
Sky Ferreira – Masochism
Sun Kil Moon – Common As Light And Love Are Red Valleys Of Blood
The Flaming Lips – Oczy Mlody
Julie Byrne – Not Even Happiness

New Spoon, Haim, The National, Phoenix, Grizzly Bear, Arcade Fire, St. Vincent and Alvvays are all heavily humoured as well.
