I haven't heard anything about that Confused And I can't seem to find anything online. Not sure how a new Talk Talk album would fair out to be honest. If it does end up happening, I think it would be hit or miss.

Also, new St. Vincent, Julia Holter and Broken Social scene were all confirmed a few days ago.

I'm going to assume Grouper and Ariel Pink both have something planned for next year as well. They've been debuting new music here and there.

mark hollis hasn't released anything since 1998... i wouldn't hold my breath, and i wouldn't get my expectations too high. if they tour though, i'm all over that.

Probably the Gorrillaz new album, but to be honest, besides that 2017's music doesn't look that promising to me, hopefully the disease that was 2016 doesn't effect 2017

This sounds far-fetched, but I wish it were true!

first 2017 release of Keith Fullerton Whitman's monthly bandcamp DAT tape archival release series is up (he lives in Australia so even though it is 2016 for me still, I'd still consider this as released on Jan 1st), and it's an unreleased stuff of Playthroughs-type material recorded in 1998 (though with more rhythm and relatively rougher edges at times) and it's sounding very very good to me.

Big Wreck's Grace Street is the one I'm most excited for. Arcade Fire as well. I'm really hoping to see Paramore and Weezer release something.

I am really hoping the new Flaming Lips LP won't be terrible.
