it's messed up for a number of reasons. Obviously it's messed up because duh, but in addition to the obvious fucked-upedness of this shit it's also acted fuel for the conservative narrative that "all trans people are sexual degenerates" or something

I can really recommend this album of which a good friend of mine Tracey Westmoreland is the singer (Bellemont is a Belgian band but she is from the USA). It's available on Apple Music and Spotify.

The Jet Sessions (Live Or Lavish) by Bellemont
It's difficult to describe the genre: blues, rock, country, etc but with great singing and great guitars. You'll find two versions of every track on the album: a live one and a lavish one and both versions are each time very good.
Let me know what you think of it: Tracey will be very happy with your comments.

Hey.
I don't really post here anymore.
But the best album of 2017 is actually an album from 1977, and it's required listening.

I've always thought this recording was a tad overrated compared to some of their other legendary shows, but it's still fucking incredible

New Vince Staples announced. Big Fish Theory. New track is pretty solid, especially that part where he rhymes 'morning' with 'Sawyer'. Big more on the YG-style production this time around.

I loved Summertime '06 more than I anticipated, so I'm excited for this. There's this really thick coat of nihilism in Staples work that you just don't get elsewhere.

Lead singer/guitar player is being accused of sexually harrassing a female (he is bi). Female also claims that he has done this to other people (both male and female). Singer/guitarist denies this, drummer does not confim nor deny the accusation.
That's about it.
Now the band's album is put on hold in the USA. Europe not (yet) the case.
I found the album very good btw.
