New Shamir dropped. It's... different.

Also, this dropped today:

Tradicao by Gabriela Mendes

Giving it a second listen right now. Really excellent, complex instrumentation. Singing and harmonies are beautiful too. Possibly a favourite of the year.

I listened to it today and man, I wasn't expecting it to be that great. A definite top 10 so far.

Well I don't know about you, but I'll be giving that new Paramore album a shot when it comes out. It might just end up being another album of Taylor York ripping off his favourite bands, Hayley's lyrical clichés, and those overly anthemic choruses that Bono would be proud of, but for whatever reason their last album held up remarkably well for me, and this new single hints at more from the same direction.

But dang didn't know they were still around, will listen sometime before August

Anyways I guess I should ask for 2017 recs since I do have a brief oppurtunity to listen to... something... this next week, and considering I've heard three albums this year and only one more than once, good to get in the game at least somewhat

The new Jefre Cantu-Ledesma single is fantastic and I listen to it every day. Besides that, I mainly just listen to rap music these days.

Come on you know I'm a fan. Despite all that stuff.
Case in point, their new song
