I don't know when it was released, but this year came with a new album by CHON. It's not as good as the first album and doesn't have tracks on the level of "Can't Wait", but I think it's pretty decent.

It's not exactly my type of metal, but Colin Stetson and Greg Fox (Liturgy, Guardian Alien) have an interesting collab out called Ex Eye.

Cool. Hadn't heard about this. Definitely going to check it out in a bit. (Not sure why there's a CD on your cover?)

I've only spun it once so far, but it's definitely solid. Glad he decided on a shorter runtime for this project. SOPHIE production was pretty cool, didn't know there'd be a couple of collabs with him. Super tight production, and every track has something going for it, but that being said, I don't think there's a completely knock-out track like Summertime or Norf Norf. Still dig it though.

Agreed. Though Summertime '06 is a v. close second.

Also: New Panda Bear

I know it's news from Friday but it's still pretty exciting nonetheless.

Aight, so halfway through the year. Digging 2017 so far (possibly a little bit more than 2016). Arca's release is still blowing me away. Anyone wanna share some gems from the past six months?
