40FootWolf used to have a good review of this on ProgArchives.

Of course, I personally prefer

Tales Of Slipknot Oceans by Omega Testing
Which is actually a name that my brother came up with, not me. And it was originally the name for a song on a completely different album, "Post-Crunkcore" from

Billy Bob Jones by Charlie N. George

To tie all of this together, I always assumed it high school that this was what killed prog, something so ambitious that it's embarrassing. But it actually does have its moments of greatness nonetheless.

Is it solipsistic in here or is it just me?

I think this gets a LOT more hate than it deserves. It's not an amazing album, but it's not nearly as bad as people say it is. Yea, I get that it's kind of the pinnacle of self-involved prog rock with lyrics based on Hindu scripture and stuff, but it's still a pretty good album. It gets a little wrapped up in itself sometimes, but overall not bad.

Stellar album. Hugely ambitious, and for the most part it rises to the challenge. My #4 Yes album.
