What are your favorite and least favorite uses of a sample in a song?
Favorite: I'm coming out by diana ross in Mo Money Mo Problems by Biggie
Least Favorite: Smells like teen spirit in Jay Z's Holy Grail _________________ Nothing really matters, anyone can see, nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me.
Death Grips use samples in some of the most creative ways I've seen. A perfect example of this would be that somehow they managed to use grunts from a Williams Sisters tennis match in their song System Blower.
Entroducing has surely got to qualify as the best use of samples, simply as the entire album is made up of samples. Or are we talking one-off samples in specific tracks here? _________________ 'Reggae' & t'ing Folk 'n Stuff SHAMELESS RECORD DEALER PLUG

Probably has both the best and worst use of samples... hahaha. At least I've heard mixed feelings about his sampling in there. I on the other hand like it... although this was my favorite album of his in the late 90s/early 2000s, I just don't listen to it anymore.
