This album proved to us that Led Zeppelin not only stole everything from blues artists, but also Bob Marley and James Brown. Very Happy

I haven't listened to this album in at least four years... I remember it being somewhat okay, but super silly.

Everybody steals from somebody, it only matters what they end up doing with it

This album used to be my favorite of theirs but that has eroded a bit over time as occassionally the album seems to lose focus or vision at times, but utterly divine when it's at its best. "No Quarter" is still the song I want played at my funeral.

Pretty weird album, some great song are among the best Zep song and consequently the best song of all time (The Rain Song, No Quarter), but the flow of the album is not so good with some bad songs splattered around the album. Still, the album has 4 classic Zep songs and a few really good ones. I think it's my 3rd or 4th best Zep album.

I'd probably rank this one 4th out of Zeppelin's stuff. Really like Over the Hills and Far Away, The Song Remains the Same and The Ocean, but there are a few weaker tracks. Actually maybe 5th, can't decide if I like this or Physical Graffiti better.
