Absolutely unique and breathtakingly beautiful. Even though it's firmly rooted in American music I can't help but imagine some medieval troop of musicians performing this at some great castle.

It's easy to forget how unique Fleet Foxes' sound really is, especially since the rode the wave of indie folk/baroque pop that has seemingly never died, and that long oversaturated the modern musical landscape. Really though, between this and Helplessness Blues, absolutely no one sounds quite like Fleet Foxes.

Track picks
2. White Winter Hymnal
5. Quiet Houses
6. He Doesn't Know Why
8. Your Protector
10. Blue Ridge Mountains
