Ew. Well past peak Jay-Z meets bloated, maximalist Kanye and it still ends up being less than the sum of its parts. A blight on both their discographies.

Fair criticism. It's still a pretty fun album though. I like all the tracks except 2, 7, 8 & 9, which are mediocre to bad.

Some honest to goodness gems here, but I can't think of another album that feels quite as dated as this one.
