Also I'm realizing my charts consist of albums I think all the songs on the album are good to great.

What this means is most of my charts are boring. They are filled with artists who often played it safe in the good zone. It is a tight line to walk... sometimes an artist will be like Britney Spears and then they decide they want to be Artists and come out with a record where they step on cats in artistic ways and release that.

Anyway, reviewing my own list, it's pretty average to good, just like the albums on it... hahaha.

At the same time it really begs the question of what a good album is, doesn't it. Does for me at least. I think when I did this chart I was looking for music compared to others that:

1) had that bittersweet pop appeal - so not full on pop music, but music that was readily accessible and connected immediately

2) Intriguing mentally at some kind of level

3) had some kind of heart/emotional connection

Well if that's all you are looking for, that can be boring. But isn't it more personal? Idk. Who cares.
