I'll go with the Bob here. I have to say though, even as my favorite bands are all kicked out at this point (not going to make a long speech about how music has turned from having fun to singing about the best way to kill yourself, but just casually noting that) the jousts are getting harder and harder to decide on. As it should.

You are wrong Liar

You need to grow and accept the fact that the music now is better than back in the day Liar

Radiohead is waay better than the Beatles and Led Zeppelin Liar

It's the truth,Radiohead is way better than the Beatles and Led Zeppelin [-(

Based on what? It is one thing to say I am not a big fan of Bob Marley or I don't like Bob Marley. It is entirely another to call him overrated.

You need to back this statement up.

okay okay. I think he's incredibly iconic and theres a deep romanticism to him, his views and his ways and I think there in lies the problem. People mix all this up with him as an artist and call him one of the greatest artists of all time, when really he is just okay musically. Admittedly I haven't heard all his albums - but of the ones I have heard I would consider none masterpieces. Even his hits on their own do little for me, I prefer Desmond Dekker really. Anyway it's just my opin.

I Think he is the greatest artist as far as Reggae goes, but outside that he's around the 30's or 40's as far as best artists go.

I'm just looking at the albums up there, and I'm sorry if you're a fan, but are any of REM's last FIVE albums anything close to memorable?

Up is a better album than people think, very atmospheric and there's some good songs on it. They just should have edited it better. Reveal was mostly forgettable and Around the Sun was a total piece of crap, and Peter Buck said as much. The last two albums though have seen some glimmers of the old R.E.M. return and I would say they both have a few memorable songs, are both decent albums, but maybe don't rank with the best of their canon. I'd argue R.E.M. didn't make a bad album until Monster and even that is OK. Since Monster, I'd say they made two really bad one's. So when you look at their whole career, that's a pretty good track record, more good than bad albums.
