Beautiful and haunting album, totally a grower, one of those records you almost don't even notice becoming a part of your time on life. I Remember playing "I felt your shape" for a girl I had a crush in, she liked it.

I listened to this one a few times over the course of three years and dismissed it as just alright. Then Moon came up in a Spotify suggested playlist and I basically forced myself to like this album because that song is so great. Now I've been listening to it a bunch and can't get enough. The first three songs are all close to 10/10 and nothing else comes close to them, but that's actually my favorite thing about the album. It really falls apart and gets into these really simple songs that are really touching.

I read someone somewhere saying they were surprised Phil enjoys black metal, but listening to this album I think it makes perfect sense in a way. It has a lot in common with that genre, at least in terms of the way these songs make me feel.

Anyone know where I can buy a copy of this on cd for a reasonable price? Everywhere I look it's horribly overpriced.
